Autumn is an excellent time to enjoy the delights of Torbay. The main group of holidaymakers will have headed home giving you space and time to enjoy the area at your leisure.
We often enjoy an Indian Summer - bringing some late sunshine and warmth in September and October.
You'll also find the air is so clear, that South Devon looks at it's best in the crisp Autumn light.
Torbay is the home of Britain's best loved crime writer and the Festival provides a wide variety of events including shows, tours, talks, murder mysteries and events at Agatha's house Greenway. For more details. www.englishriviera.co.uk/agathachristie
This was a nice place and it really was the warmest, friendliest greeting I've ever had. Bags taken upstairs and no lack of help regarding where to eat. I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and they did a cooked veggie option for my wife which is almost unheard of. Thank you!!!
