Rooms at Kethla Guest House

Kethla House boasts seven luxurious en-suite guest rooms with a mix of double, twin & family rooms, all of which are individually furnished and decorated. Our superior king double rooms are spacious and well appointed and benefit from king or superking size beds.

Most of our rooms contain smart TVs, with access to streaming services, fast WiFi connections, complementary tea and coffee facilities, and a fridge with a selection of refreshments (operated on an honesty basis). We also supply as standard luxury toiletries, and a range of little extras such as good sleep packs for light sleepers. Our luxury pocket-sprung mattresses promise a great night's sleep and beddings are mostly luxury 400-thread cotton supplemented with an array of deep, soft pillows and cushions for that boutique feel. Whether on your first night after a long journey, or mid-stay after a busy day, your room at Kethla House will be a relaxing haven to enjoy. 

There are two large ground floor guest rooms and a ground floor dining room (no steps), making us an ideal choice for people with limited mobility. If you are staying for multiple nights we are happy to service rooms daily on request, and change linen and towels on a regular basis.

Breakfast is the perfect way to start the day! So why not enjoy the treat of a freshly cooked full English breakfast along with fruit juice and a range of branded cereals, toast, and preserves? Our breakfast menu also includes a wide selection of alternatives to cater for all tastes and dietary needs (including smoked salmon, kippers and Eggs Benedict, as well as a continental selection). We offer a range of teas such as fruit, herbal, Tetley, Earl Grey as well as decaffeinated tea and coffee.

We make a conscious effort to reduce our impact on the environment and recycle items such as newspapers, magazines, cans, glass and plastic bottles. We have a small car park at the rear of the house (via Lucius Street) that can cater for three cars on a first come first served basis. There is also plenty of free on road parking close by (see the 'find us' page for more details).
